Red & Purple

I want to get lost in the colour of flowers

The red too deep to swim through

The purple glowing brighter than air

I want to drown in puddles of petals

Their rainbows casting my shadow back at me

Nothing I can see but red

Nothing I can hear but purple

Redder than blood

More purple than the rain

So strong I am lost in it

The air is made of flowers

And I do not search for a way out

Taking breaths filled with pollen

Sex in my lungs like crimson mist

Reproducing the purple sea

It can’t possibly be that red

It could never be that purple

Or could it?
